Audio files and minutes of meeting (MoM)

Long meeting, no time to write it up? Attach the recording, ask what was decided, and turn it into proper minutes of meeting, the MoM that every office baithak (meeting) needs.

Click attach, choose Audio, and pick your file: WAV, MP3, M4A, OGG or FLAC. Videos work too, including phone MP4 and MOV files, and ZenithAI uses their speech.

While it works, you see Transcribing audio and then Speech transcription complete. ZenithAI turns the speech into text and answers from it. Then ask anything:

  • “What were the decisions about the Pune office?”
  • “List the action items with who is responsible.”
  • “Give me the full transcript.”

The transcript comes back word for word. Speakers are not told apart.

  1. Paste your notes or the transcript, or attach them as a file.
  2. Ask: “Make minutes of meeting from this as a Word file.” You can also say MoM or meeting minutes.
  3. Download the Word file from the card in chat.

The document follows the usual Indian office format:

  • Title: Minutes of the Meeting
  • Header: Date, Time, Venue, Chair, Minutes by
  • Numbered agenda items with the discussion
  • Attendance, Action items and Next meeting

Minutes are written formally, in the past tense. Names are taken only from your notes, and a missing owner or deadline is written as To be confirmed instead of being guessed. Read the minutes before you circulate them.

Common questions

Which audio files can I attach in ZenithAI chat?

WAV, MP3, M4A, OGG and FLAC. Videos such as phone MP4 and MOV also work, and their speech is used. Your tier needs to support media; if it doesn't, ZenithAI tells you which tier to switch to.

Can I get the full transcript of my recording?

Yes. After attaching the audio, ask for the transcript and ZenithAI returns the text it heard, word for word. Speakers are not told apart, so the whole text is labelled Speaker 1.

How do I make minutes of meeting in Word?

Paste or attach your meeting notes or transcript and ask for minutes of meeting as a Word file. You get a document with the date, venue, chair, agenda items, attendance, action items and next meeting.
