Site-locked chat, answers from your sites

Sometimes you only want the asli (official) source. A banker wants RBI, a tax team wants the GST portal, an HR team wants the labour ministry. A site-locked chat answers only from the websites you name.

Lock a chat

Name the site and say only:

• “Answer only from rbi.org.in. What is the current repo rate?”
• “Only use gst.gov.in and cbic.gov.in for my questions in this chat.”

ZenithAI confirms it: This chat will now answer only from rbi.org.in. Start a new chat to use other sources. A banner stays at the top: Answers in this chat come only from rbi.org.in.

Just mentioning a site, or asking to summarise or compare a site, doesn’t lock the chat. Use the word only, and look for the confirmation line and the banner: if you see the banner, the lock is on. If you don’t see it, say it again more plainly, for example “use only rbi.org.in for this chat”.

What the lock guarantees

• Search results from other websites are dropped.
• Pages on other websites are never opened.
• Links to other websites in an answer are marked (unverified link).
• If your administrator has turned internet off for you, that still applies.

Up to four sites

Name two, three or four sites in one chat. Each one is searched at the same time, and you see the progress for each site: searching, results found, nothing found, or search failed.

Under each answer where it searched, ZenithAI shows Sources found on rbi.org.in: 3 or No source found on rbi.org.in, so you know exactly what the answer stands on.

Change the sites

In a later message you can add a site, or ask to replace the sites. To search the whole web again, start a new chat.

When the lock doesn't apply

Site locks work in normal chats. They don’t apply inside a workspace or document chat, or to a message that asks for a Word, Excel or PowerPoint file.

Common questions

How do I lock a chat to one website?

Type the site in your message with the word only, for example "answer only from rbi.org.in". When the lock is on, ZenithAI confirms it and shows a banner naming the site for the rest of the chat.

Can a site-locked chat use other websites?

No. Search results and pages from other sites are dropped before the answer is written. If the answer still links to another site, that link is marked as unverified.

How many websites can I lock a chat to?

Up to four. Each site is searched at the same time, and you can see the progress for every site while ZenithAI works.

How do I go back to searching the whole web?

Start a new chat. The lock belongs to the chat it was set in, so every new chat starts open again.
